چکیده
This chapter draws on three different design studios that focus the Pearl River Delta to discuss what kind of knowledge has been generated within them, and how they can be used systematically as a method address region’s complex challenges. The differ in their objectives, duration structure, but are linked by research-through-design approach. A selection some illustrative outcomes is presented structured around types knowledge—project based, form based idea based—which typically produced process. refers four main aspects through which it possible describe complexity urban landscape, namely time, space, causality materiality either contextual or generic. Nonetheless, studio, employed support research activities, speeding up development programmes dealing with issues, such adaptation fast urbanising deltas.
